The Founding Story
Why Saol Nua Exists
The patients Dr. Codruta kept meeting shared a common experience: real symptoms, dismissed by results that fell just inside a reference range. Women told their hormones were “normal” when they felt anything but. Couples given no explanation for why conception wasn’t happening. Patients navigating perimenopause without acknowledgement of what they were experiencing.
Standard medicine was not failing these patients through negligence. It was failing them through limited time, because appointments are often too short to explore the full picture.
Saol Nua was founded to address exactly that gap. A clinic where appointments are long enough to matter. Where results are interpreted in the context of the whole person, not against a population average.
Today, Saol Nua is evolving into something broader: Dublin’s most comprehensive integrative health destination, where fertility medicine, hormonal health, functional diagnostics, IV therapy and advanced wellness sit under one clinical roof. The founding premise hasn’t changed. The capacity to act on it has grown considerably.

Clinical Background
With seventeen years of clinical experience, Dr. Codruta trained at the University of Oradea, Romania, before completing advanced specialist training in restorative reproductive medicine at NeoFertility Ireland. Her ongoing role within the National Ambulance Service clinical hub has sharpened both her diagnostic instincts and her understanding of what happens when health goes unaddressed over time.
Her Approach
A consultation with Dr. Codruta is substantive and unhurried. She takes a thorough history, reviews all previous results through the lens of optimal rather than merely normal function, and leaves the patient with a clear written plan.
